DIRECTIONS: from St. Peter's, drive westward from the village on HWY104. Take Exit47, about 7km from the center of the village, northbound onto Sporting Mountain Road. Follow this dirt road about 3km until you come to the bridge over River Tillard. Park off the road.

Trail Description: The River Tillard Trail is an improved section of trail that runs along the abandoned St. Peter's to Port Hawkesbury railroad bed. The hiking is fairly level and clean, making this an enjoyable hike alongside the River Tillard. The falls are located approximately 1 km downstream from the parking location, and are a smaller plunge with vigorous cascades during high water across the breadth of the stream.  The pool at the base of the falls is deep enough for a good swim.

The remains of an old salmon ladder is located on the far side of the falls, and there is a catch-and-release salmon fishery that runs along this stream from June 1 -July 15. Bullhead, white and yellow perch can also be found here.
