DIRECTIONS: from St. Peter's, exit the village on HWY4
eastwards. Follow this highway approximately 29.5km, turning
right onto a signed dirt road at 45 N 49.023 060 W 40.263. Drive
up this road about 1 km, parking off the side of the road at the
borrow.

Trail Description: these falls are very nearly roadside, but to get
to the base of the falls, walk back down the dirt road 100m and
make your way down to the bottom of the ravine.

Called Golhamkitk by the Mi'kmaq, these charming plunges just
off the main highway between St. Peter's and Sydney are a
pleasant diversion. Also nearby, at the top of the hill where you
turned off onto the dirt road is the Irish Cove Provincial Park
which features stunning panoramic views of the Bras D'Or.
