L'Ardoise, just outside of town. Drive down this charming coastal
road approximately 1 2km, turning left onto St. Peter's/Forchu
Road. Follow this highway 9km to the community of Grand
River, turning right onto the first bridge. Drive up the hill, about
400m, and turn left onto Loch Lomond Rd. Follow this wide dirt
road 7.5km and watch for an old woods road leading up into the
woods on your right hand side, at 45 N 41 .990 060 W 37.064.
Trail Description: walk up the woods road, following it to its
conclusion, 1 .2 km along. Cross over the top of the beaver lodge
and walk downstream approximately 800m. Although not large
falls, slide falls are rare in Nova Scotia, and McKillops Brook is a
fine example of this classification of waterfall.
